Uldania is an ancient Filani realm dedicated to the druid ideals of oneness with nature as well as freedom of the individual. Much of its history has been one of peace where the druids of the land are widely revered by the populace and sought after for their advice and wisdom. In recent years, however, the inhabitants of this land have taken more of a militaristic approach as the threat from Mordregion waxes as the rising moon. The climate tends to be fairly cool year round with winters sometimes being harsh with much snow and heavy winds blowing off from the Spineridge Mountains.

The king has been meeting with ambassadors from the neighboring allied realms of Hyland and Hibernia to unite the factions against any possible undead assault but with little success. The peaceful folk of Hyland see no imminent threat to their borders and so wish to wait. The simple nomads of Hibernia have neither the resources nor the resolve to form an aggressive "axis of nature" as it were.

Meanwhile, the realm does receive some aid from the noble druidic knights known as the Aer Dana, the "Children of the Woodlands." These warrior druids are each sworn to protect the land of Uldania from any outside threat and watch the borders carefully. They generally work alone but will band together if a greater threat is encountered. Most are devotees of Endorie, the Lady of the Evergreens, or Ulrik, the Master of the Hunt, for both of these faiths are particularly strong in these parts.

Rumors: The small woodland in the southwest of Uldania known as the Candlewood has recently come under the protection of three powerful druidesses calling themselves the Daughters of the Wood. Each is said to control awesome spellcasting ability as well as the power to change form. They are said to not take kindly to intruders and it is generally advised to stay clear of these woods. They are believed to have set up a base at the old abandoned Oakheart Abbey. A diplomatic entourage leaving Wingrave en route to Dunstable disappeared without a trace before even reaching the border. The king is most distressed by this news as his nephew was a member of the diplomatic corps. News from the northwestern frontier brings sightings of a mated pair of young red dragons that have been cattle rustling and taking their prey toward the direction of the Spineridge.
