Glathion is a semi-rocky land with limited areas of fertility. Much of the peasant population raise herd animals for wool, skins and meat. The princes of the land have always ruled on the side of caution and are known to be patrons of numerous spy networks for the land itself is one of intrugue and suspicion between neighbors. Most of the folk tend to stay in their local communities and mind their own business.
The current prince is actually a cousin of the Imperial Family. Prandalas, a scion of the House of Wormhill, has lofty goals for this feifdom. He remained loyal to the Imperial Crown during the Sundering War to feign allegiance while he plots to do away with the Imperial line and seize the crown for himself. To this end he keeps his status as an agent of Zhinda, the Hidden Lord, a secret from all except his most trusted servants and co-conspirators.
The unique capital of this land is Isenford, the Bridge City, that spans the flow ot the riven Isen. The city itself was reward to the House of Wormhill for their allegiance during the wars and only recently became the capital city of the principality. The prince's main stronghold is still located near the city of Wormhill. The prince has a secret cadre of Royal Assassins that gather information on his enemies and exterminate any who would challenge the Prince's authority.
Rumors: Powerful undead creatures are said to stalk the sewer ways beneath the capital city, occasionally coming up to the streets at night to feed on the living. Numerous gnoll raids have been descending from the Ironhorn Mountains and the northern districts have been sending requests for more military support.
